Jamaican Black Castor Oil is made by roasting castor beans before pressing them. This process gives the oil its dark color and ash content—believed to boost its effectiveness. It’s thicker and has a slightly smoky scent, making it more potent and long-lasting.
Jamaican black castor oil is a popular ingredient in hair care products, skin moisturizers, and other cosmetic formulations. It is also used in manufacturing brake fluids, waxes, polishes, and even as a precursor for some types of nylon.
